Antique Tractor Fuel Tank Repair

Kuhn's Equipment Repair replaces and refurbishes fuel tanks for antique tractors, automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, and airplanes. Gas and diesel tanks can be cleaned and restored to like new condition using the following steps. We don't recommend trying this at home.
NOTE: THIS CAN NOT BE DONE TO A PLACTIC TANK

Your tank is first loaded into one of our two tank repair machines and the following steps, as needed are preformed:

     Step 1 - Remove Stale Gas                  With MEK

     Step 2 - Clean and Wash

     Step 3 - Remove Rust With                  Acid

     Step 4 - Clean and Washed

Step 5 - Use MEK to take out the clean water so there is no water in the tank

Step 6 - Lined

*These step are necessary to obtain a good bonding of the liner.
*When wholes are noticed after each acid wash they are Soldered closed.
*When your tank is done you can rest assure the tank will no longer leak. Our tank repairs like all our repairs are guaranteed!!
