1. Must use high voltage coils
2. Must use ring terminals only NOT spade terminals
3. Must use automotive style plug wires, NOT copper core wires
4. Must follow wiring diagram exactly
5. Battery must be right polarity
6. Do NOT use a resistor - even though the wiring diagram may show it
