Ford 4000

This is a 1970 Ford 4000 Serial No. 286021.  It came to us from a couple in the Preston, NY area.  They had bought the tractor brand new and they have fabricated a homemade canopy.  The tractor was originally used to chop corn and they wanted the tractor restored to its original condition.  The tractor is now use to rake and teed hay on a working dairy farm. 

We repaired the fuel leaks, the charging system and we performed a complete service. A new brake latch support was fabricated. 

Then finally it was painted Ford Blue and Grey and finished with a coat of protective gloss.
